I have a question that I cannot seem to find an answer for.
After installing CallPilot Desktop messaging, when I open outlook it prompts me to get an address book - either from the server or the local client.
No matter what option I use, it says that it cannot download it.
couple questions -
1)where on the server is the address book located? I am assuming when they say server, they mean the BCM? or are they talking the exchange server here?

2)How come it will not download the local address book? I think it shows it is located in C:\documents and settings\my username\addressbook.cst or cpa

3)How do I add entries to the address book? I cant even figure out how to open it let alone add entries to it.

It is more than a nuisance right now having to click on do not download address book everytime outlook is opened, and we would actually like to start using this feature, if i can ever figure out how it works.

any help here would be appreciated
Thanks
James

If you are using outlook 2000 when you open the address book by using the (to button) on a new email. On the right handside if you change the global address book to call pilot entries you will see all the entries in the call pilot(This is the available users on your call pilot). To add to the call pilot address book you need to have a mailbox on the call pilot system. You can change the settings on the outlook profile this will allow you change how often the address book needs to be downloaded.
