CallPilot Desktop Messaging - Address Book Problem

We have a new CallPilot installation with Desktop Messaging (running on Lotus Notes client). Every time our users open the CallPilot view in Notes, they're prompted to download the Address Book. If they select to download it, a message comes back "Unable to find any entries in the address book. Please verify the search base is correct and try again." If they choose not to download the address book, it works fine.

We can't roll this out to the whole building this way, so I'm trying to figure out what's going on. (Not getting much assistance from our vendor.) I've verified that the search base (dc=mwr,dc=int,dc=acme,dc=com) is the same on the client an in the CP server. (Obviously, name changed here on purpose.) Have tried both anonymous and authenticated logon, SSL (port 626) and non-SSL (port 389), but still nothing.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them!

Thanks,
Matt Schultz

Have you set the VPIM info on call pilot server and client. The VPIM is is 1+area code+prefix.

Yep, the VPIM is set (402661). Ours doesn't have a 1 at the front, but other services like faxing & MyCallPilot are working with this VPIM.

Odd, but my search base is setup the other way around, try (dc=com,dc=acme,dc=int,dc=mwr). On my site it is working. Goodluck.
