In other VM systems I have programmed, there is a system overide or schedule overide box. This would allow a user to record a "closed" message in the overide box and turn on system overide so the "closed" message would play as the main greeting. Then when the user turns off system overide, the main greeting takes over again. This was used for bad weather, funerals, etc. Is there anything similar in callpilot? The only work around I can think of is an option off of a menu in app. builder. But I would rather it not be an option callers always hear.

We use the Scheduler in Call Pilot to set a "closed" message. Build a SDN in Call Pilot, Dial into Prompt Messaging, change the message, then set the Scheduler to that prompt ID.

I found a solution. I put an announcement box between the start block and the main menu. If the office is closed or opening late, the office manager can record an announcement that plays in front of the main menu. She can do this from home. I made the voice item maintenance an option off the main menu. During normal operating hours, she records a second of silence in the announcement box and callers skip over it and go straight to the main menu. Works great.
