Currently we are running a nightly backup via CallPilot Backup/Restore to a Tandberg tape, however I'd like to make a full system backup. Seems the vendor disabled the VSS services on the 600r when it was installed (running 2003 SP2)... is it safe to re-enable these services, or is there really a reason they were disabled? It's preventing successful backups with NTBackup, among other 3rd party backup applications.
If it's not recommended to re-enable, does anyone have a suggestion for a full system state backup (preferably without rebooting)
Thanks!
