I have a customer who has an opt. 11c, with Callpilot 201i. They purchased the pbx and telecom equipment from the previous building owner. I was able to set their system up with new ext.'s and vm boxes. They now want an auto attendant to answer call on thier main line. There is no server, I've been using keyboard and monitor plugged directly into cp card. Is it possible to build an auto attendant this way, and where can I find some documentation to guide me through this process ? Thanks for any help given.

You will need to the Application Builder per your your release of CP software, (I think latest is backward compatible)You would access this through an HTML client. IE

Look under the Application Builder docs. Not sure which release you have so cannot reference your exact NTP.

Or could I make changes to the original auto attendant the previous building owner was using , from a phone set ?

Ok, Thanks for the help, guys. Is it possible to obtain application builder for my laptop, or for a pc on site ? I have app. builder installed on an old laptop, but when dial into the modem and get connected nothing happens, once it syas Im connected, I have tried to open my browser with the 192.168.20.7 it says I am unauthorized to view ? Im sure I'm not doing it correctly. Sorry about being so green. I do appreciate the help, guys. Any suggestions ?

Do you have access to Nortel website? If so you can download from there. If not then request the Application Builder PEP from your vendor, I would think you would probasbly already have this somewhere onsite, But that may not be the case for you as this was bought from Previous owner. A lot of times this stuff disappears when changing hands. What release are you running on CP? ?

Also to note once your connected to the Callpilot does the CallPilot server have PcAnywhere installed. If not check what IP you were assigned when you dialed in. You can do this via a DOS window on your PC after connected type
C:\ipconfig /all will give you all IP's on your PC look for the one associated PPP adapter try using that IP with the "Other than that you will need to be onsite to work on it. Your remote dialup access may restrict certain types of apps running across it. May be why your getting the error
