Callpilot 2.1, Importing Wav file for Symposium message

Hi,

I'm trying to import a wav file to use rather than use a message generated by the telephony interface.
The import works well, but the quality is nothing like when I play the wav message on my PC.
The Callpilot imported file plays distoted.
Using edit to first play it, I see two sliders on the media player which appear locked , you cannot adjust volume.

Any ideas why this message is distorted ?

the message is not recorded at the correct db, record the message at 8 db or use an audio converter to lower the db...
