When listening to a greeting in a mailbox, you can press # to bypass the greeting and go directly to recording a message.

Can this be shut off - per mailbox or system wide? Please say yes - customer is speed-dialing me, and doesn't seem to understand " I don't think so. "

Thanks!!

I dont think it can be shut off, but why would they want that?

They want to force people to listen to the greeting before leaving a message.

No can do.. Forced Announcements are only available in the Contact/Call Center functionality.

I would strongly suggest the customer include "Please listen to this entire message" at the beginning of their message.

Nortel will be no help as they will say "It works the way it was designed"....
