i am testin a callpilot 100
i have created two mailboxes but when i use F981 it asks for a LOG: rather then pswrd
am i missing a step?

i can use f983 just fine pswrd is 102000 but when i assign MB to x223 or x221 i get the log prompt i dont know wat im doin wrong

Log appears when a mailbox has not been assigned to an extn.

Create mailbox for extn 221

Mailbox. 221
Extension. 221

Then this mailbox 221. Will be assigned to extn 221.

Now you should see password:

when i create the MB221 i dont get the option to patch it wit the x221

these are the options i get when i add a mailbox

just replaced Callpilot 100 with calpilot 150/mini and still getting log on F981
how do i erase all programming on VM to start from scratch

Do you have mailbox licence.

This thing won't allow you to add mailboxes if you don't have a mailbox licence installed..

Did you do that.

There are 2default mailboxes
Mailbox 100
Mailbox 102

Change mailbox 100 and assign extn 221

Now you will see password.

Press mailbox
Add del change

Press change
Mail box 100
Extension 221
Cos 1
Etc

Go to extn 221
Press feature 981
Password 0000
Change password
Record name.

Oh by the way you have not said if you have entered the mail box licences..
Should be 10 on default if you generated the key code.

BeanBuritto, according to your post above, you're trying to create an information mailbox. You need to make it a user mailbox, then you would be able to get the result you're looking for.

When you try to add a mailbox, how many licenses does it say you have left?
