Are the CCM/Unity Security Agents independent of CiscoWorks? I would love to install them, but I know for a fact that we don't have the voice part of CiscoWorks...
Yes, they are independant. The versions of CSA that come with CallManager and Unity are also 'headless' in that they do not talk to the management console for CSA. They are standalone.
