We were trying to setup Call Detail Reporting here at our office but didn't know our Cluster Password Phrase. I used the Cisco AdminUtility to reset our password phrase, but now I can't get into CallManager any longer. It will not accept what used to be our CCMAdministrator password. I can login to it with the administrator account but it tells me that I don't have permissions to do anything once I login.

I know there is a way to reset your CallManager password but I don't remember how. I am not even sure if we are using MLA or not and I don't know how to check now that we can't login to CM.

Any ideas?

You have MLA activated, apparently...that's probably why you don't have any rights to CCMAdmin pages.

I've not used MLA at all, since I'm the sole phone admin here, but I'm almost sure you should have turned it off before you reset your cluster password phrase via the AdminUtility. Not totally sure about that though, maybe someone else here that uses MLA more than I have knows more.

If MLA is turned off, then the CCMAdmin pages use the local Administrator account for authentication; when MLA is on, it uses the CCMAdministrator password. You can try the local Administrator password, if you know it, and see if that lets you in. Otherwise, you can reset your local Administrator password - first on your publisher - then reboot, then change it on your subscriber, and then reboot that box, etc. until you've changed it on your entire cluster.

Hope this helps -

One thing to try first, before the above - go into Services on all of your CCM's, starting with the publisher, and restart the Tomcat service. MLA depends on that service.
