I am running vmware workstation 5.5.1 with XP host machine. Using 2GB RAM and Pentium-D 3.0GHz. I have AD/Exchange host (W2k-Server), a Unity Host (W2k-Server), and a CallManager host (W2k-Server). AD/Exch and Unity hosts run without any CPU issue. But for some reason the CallManager host is running idle at 100%.
I have tried various configurations with the CPU allocation but I am still getting CPU issues.
CM Guest Specs:
- CM: 4.1(3)sr3b
- Build procedure:
1. Install Windows 2000 server
2. apply SP3 (MS distribution)
3. apply registry modification
4. apply Cisco OS 2000.2.6
5. apply Cisco OS 2000.2.6sr5
6. install CM 4.1(2)
7. OS 2000.2.7
8. OS 2000.2.7sr7
9. CM 4.1(3)
10. CM 4.1(3)sr3b
I had no installation areas. I am not sure where the CPU issue came into play as I was just "flipping disks".
Has anyone come across this type of CPU issue with VMWare and CallManager?
Regards,
Bill
