Want to upgrade to CM 6.1, but I'm not sure if that is a stable version yet. I know 5.1.3 is very solid. Any suggestions?

I heard that 6.1.2 is pretty stable compared to 6.1.1

If you are going to upgrade go to 6.x and not 5.x.
It is stable and all the major bugs have been worked out.
