Hi All,

I'd just like to get some other members feedback as to how you personally go about creating speed-dials accessible by all users on Cisco CallManager 5 and above cluster.

I've used translation patterns and DN's before... any other simpler ways ?

Thanks,
Phil

I use CTI ports. I start with *01 for the DN and then with the approriate CSS on CFWD All send it to the outside Speed Dial number. I put the Called Number name in the alerting field so the caller can see who they are calling.

They can be BAT'ed in easily enough. If you have more than 100, start with *001 for 1000.

For 6.1 and above you could use Click to Call and an Excel spreadsheet or an internal web page for the Speed Dial numbers.
