Hi-
I'm trying to install a Cisco IP Gateway to a satellite office of ours that is using BCM50 PBX. The vendor added new analog line, assign them extension (eg 211) to connect to the FXO port of the IP Gateway.
Our set-up is if anyone from this branch office wants to call the Main, he just needs to dial the analog line (211), he'll get a 2nd dial-tone, then dial a four-digit number (6xxx) that's set on the Gateway.
Here's the problem. If I dial from the outside, listen to the RVA, dial 211, then the 6xxx number it's working ok. But if I'm calling from inside the office using a digital phone, dialing 211 gives me a second dial-tone, but when I dial the 6xxx I'm hearing a denial or fast-busy tone.
Is there something on the BCM50 digital phone that restricts this?
