Calling unregistered custom DLL from an EBM

Overarching question: Is it possible, through late binding, to call a method that is in an unregistered custom DLL based on the file location of the DLL, from within an EBM?

Background:
We have developed an extensive code base that we are wanting to move into a library for extensibility purposes. We are wanting to avoid having to register the library as we do not have admin rights, nor do we want, to have the responsibilities that come with that security.

Currently, our code base is managed in Excel add-ins and is called through the EBMs by simply creating an Excel object, opening the XLAM in the background and using the Run command to initiate the desired method. We are wanting to migrate that code to a library so that it would be accessible when developing .NET applications. Ideally, we would not have to maintain to separate code sets. The problem is that I have not yet found a way to be able to call an unregistered custom library from an EBM. We have a user base that use macros within Attachmate and thus would need to initiate the code from their Extra! sessions.

Thanks in advance for any assistance, it is greatly appreciated!
