This script is very helpful except that it does not actually send the e-mail with "Outlook 2007"

It is placed in the Outbox but because the "sent" button is never clicked then it's never ready to be delivered.

Can you please help me out -

Thanks,

-Joe

joealbergo,
Welcome to tek-tips. Please have a look at faq222-2244, in particular #7 (Use a descriptive Subject).

I tried the code you pointed to from ralphtrent in Outlook 2010 and it worked fine (though Outlook did warn me that I was going to send an email without a subject). What exact code did you try? Are you using "On Error Resmue Next", which suppresses error messages?

I used the exact same script he had posted, the only thing I changed was I added a file to where it is indicated in the script.

I also added my e-mail address to where it was going.

I am using Outlook 2007 - it does not send automatically.

Basically what I described above in the thread is what is exactly happening.

Thank you for the reply - please let me know what I can do.

I appreciate your time and efforts !

TIA
