Calling Perl from JAVA??

How can I call a perl function inside JAVA code??
Is there any specific package to be installed??

If yes, can you send me some examples.

Hi,

Actually I am also planning to call Perl scripts using Java Programs. I am still no successful in doing so but I found something useful - JPL.

The problem now is I am not sure of what I am suppose to download because I am using a Windows 98 Platform. So if you did figure out, please keep me inform as well.
