I have recently run into a situation where I can no longer call to a particular country internationally. I can call many countries, just not this one. I opened a trouble ticket with the carrier to do some call traces, and they are saying that issue is because my calling # is showing up with a "11" in front of it.

Here is a sample of what is seen leaving
(I just "X" out some digits for privacy reasons):

International call:
------------------
DCH 3 OMSG SETUP REF 0000000B CH 25 11 TOD 13:34:28
CALLING #:11781XXXXXXX NUM PLAN: PRIVATE
CALLED #:011972XXXXXXXX NUM PLAN: PRIVATE

Domestic LD call:
----------------
DCH 3 OMSG SETUP REF 0000000B CH 25 11 TOD 13:35:12
CALLING #:781XXXXXXX NUM PLAN: PRIVATE
CALLED #:1401XXXXXXX NUM PLAN: PRIVATE

So you can see that on an international call, my PBX is putting this "11" in front the calling #, and if a domestic ld call is made, it does not.

How can I make it so the "11" does not get put in front of the calling # when an international call is made.

Thanks in advance. This has become a real thorn in my side.

Just a thought but maybe you might want to try and add a DGT and set the call type to INTL for that RLI entry.

Thanks for replying guys. I did some further checking in the threads and saw how to look at the CLID info and what other people had in theirs.

These are the threads that actually inadvertantly helped me get to what I wanted to do:
thread798-1251086
thread798-1268532

Turns out I had "INTL 11" in my CLID. I changed the CLID and X'd out INTL so now nothing is there.

Made a test call and watched MSGO and it is now gone. No more "11" before the 10 digit Calling #.

Unfortunately my problem still exists and I cannot call this country, but the carrier no longer has this as an excuse.

Thanks
