I need to have a group of agents have the possibility to call trough a specific trunk group, this should be done when they press a programmed button on the telphone (6416d+).
I'd setup a COR and route just for them. The COR would allow them to place calls only through that trunk group.
They would only have to press '9' (or whatever your ARS access code is) to place a call through the specified trunk group.
Alternatively you could setup the trunk group to allow the TAC to be dialed. HOWEVER WHEN YOU DO THIS; your ARS restrictions no longer work!!! The ARS is not checked to see if any particular call type is denied.
If someone dials the TAC of a trunk group and decides to dial a 900 number, the restrictions you place on being able to dial 900 numbers are bypassed and the call is allowed to proceed.
Time of day chart option in the COR... is an option. In the partition table specify the trunk to be used. Time of day chart 2 = PGN 2 etc... that is if you have partitioning.
If they only dial a specific set of numbers you can create a route pattern specifying the trunk, then in ARS program those numbers to route to the route pattern, which would then route out those programmed calls to the trunk you specified in the route pattern.
I'd agree with dufus2506, don't use TAC codes. They don't work with ISDN PRI's anyway.
If you do use tac codes, program them with ~s then your TAC, that way they don't see the code. Your basically given them the keys to the car, this method by passes CDR as well.
