How should the Lec be configured in order for us to receive
caller ID

you have to have a PRI with a D Channel

you want the code for a dms? your rcap must include name display 2 on the meridian side..

you can enl msgi x on the d in 96 to verify the content of the dch setup information.. the lec may be sending clid, your box may just need the rcap

Are you saying it IS possible to have callerid with name display on my Option 61 Succession 3 (if, of course, my LEC is sending it)?

Can you elaborate a little on the instructions above?

I've been asked for name display MANY times, on this job and in a previous job.

I thought in order to receive name along with number from the CO, you had to be configured as NI-2 and the RCAP of the d-channel would have NDS programmed.
