I have the calling # display working on all the phone builds, but when the 2nd line rings the display shows the users extension since it has essentially 'rolled' from the primary line. So to the user it looks like their own extension is calling them.
Is there a way to have the calling name display carry over from the rolled line (or a CLS that will allow the display to show the correct caller name on the display)?

To summarize - the calling number will display properly on the phone but not the correct name information.

My builds have add, tdd, cnda, dnda, cdca, nama and I can put one on here if needed.

I will give it a try, but can you explain why it would work to deny the dialed name display? I thought it needs to be allowed ... I want name and number to appear properly on the 2nd line (the same as the primary line)

I think just TDD will do it for you. Not sure you need to change the DNDA prompt.

I already have TDD (see OP) and yes that will display the information on calls to the 2nd line but for some reason it is only the calling number and not the name (on internal calls). It looks like a user is calling themselves - the rolled call from the primary extension will show a calling name of that user and their extension and they want it to show the real caller. Example ext 1000 = John Doe his phone rings with 1001 calling him and that is Jane Doe. John's display will read 1000 John Doe instead of 1001 Jane Doe
Obviously it won't do name display on external calls so I am not worried about those calls.

Your other post says you have add and tdd, you cant have both. It's one or the other. I'm pretty Reusser is right with his post.

Very good I have set DNDD to see if that works. Sorry I thought I had ADD also, but sleep deprevation caused me to say that in error :)
Our standard builds are ctd, mwa, lna, fna, hta, hfa, add, cnda cdca, dnda, so we normally don't use tdd but we had added that to these multi-line phones so users could get displays. I still don't understand why DNDD would be set instead of DNDA :) I will certainly give credit to Reusser if it works!

Have you watched the display when the second call comes in? Try this. Place a call to key 0 from a dn that has no name and then place a call to key 1 from a dn that does have a name.

DNDD - Display "Who was Dialed"
CNDA - Display "Who is calling"

DNDA take precedence over CNDA on redirected calls (like to your second line). Unless you are answer calls for many other people, you already know who was being dialed - it was you, and you do not need to see your own name. You want to see the callers name. That is why to set CNDA DNDD

**'s for GHTROUT and Reusser (you guys rock as always)

I still didn't hear back from the employee yet, so maybe I will just go look at her display myself.

That would make sense why I could not figure it out since our 'standard' has dnda and cnda. So, maybe we should no longer use DNDD ...
