All right. I think I am brain dead. So I need some help. I have made a webpage that I want movies to play in the middle of it when people click on certain buttons. The middle of the page has a 790X302 layout table. This is where I want each movie to load. The rest of the page is plain html. I want the user to be able to click on a link, i.e. "staff" and a swf plays in the middle of the webpage in the 790X302 area. How do I code this. Do I make nested layers and then call them in with coding on the link? Please help. Here is my test site so you can see what I am talking about.

Also, I probably should go with the colors I have in the web design, the purple. I would like to use the grid background. How could I apply that on my work stage in Flash MX? Or could I use a transparent type of background, and how. Or should I go white? I know a lot of questions. Just trying to get it to look professonal. So any suggestions would be great. Thank you.

I really did not mean to do that. I will fix it. This is the first time you have been so curt. I know it has been awhile since I have been here. I am still new at a lot of this. I just wanted some answers to my question. Sorry you hate me. Hope you have a better day. Thank you anyway.

Ok. I do not know why it is opening half way still. I tested it in several browsers and it opens fully. The link above for some reason makes it open at a certain width and height. I took the code out. I am not sure. I will keep looking.

I don't hate you, I just don't like my browser window resized, 'cause then I have to re-set it.

Yes, you can make your movie transparent ( and embed it in a higher layer/division (
You should use loadMovie actions, to load up different sections of your site in a container clip within your present main movie.

If you want to use a generic preloader within your main movie, you could check this one...

If you want to add a transition between movie on top of a generic preloader, check this...

Guess this post will turn up to be valuable after all!

Thank you. I will work with it. I Appreciate your response and understanding.
