Does Avaya have an interface to allow a user to initiate a call from their contact list in Microsoft Outlook and have it dial out on their phone with just a couple of mouse clicks?
Great! Is there any installation documentation or can one of you fellows explain in more detail how to set this up? I just installed TAPI on my PC and do have Phone Manager Pro, from here I need to know the next step.
Reboot the PC after the install, go to your contacts in outlook select the dial icon. Select the "Dialing options" the in the pulldown menu select the IPOffice extension. this must be done once then you able to start a call to a contact.
Greetzzz..Bas

before the extn will show in the dialing options box you need to go to control panel, phone and modem options, advanced tab and double click on the avaya ip office tapi2 service provider
put in the switch ip address, and put your extn number in the username tab and password if you have one set.
ok it all then reboot the pc, you will then see your extn in the dialing options box.
I am open to suggestions to get it to work. I had it working for many years and went to 2007 and I can't get it to work. Unistalled and reintalled many times. I am using User 4.2.12.
I just removed and reinstalled Phone Mgr and rebooted every time. Still doesn't show IP office extension when I go to my dialing properties. Any suggestions? I am using 4.2.12 on IP500 4.2.4.
Yes and all of the info is correct. I ahve been programming and installing IPO since its inseption in this country and never had a problem until I went to Office 2007.
