Calling MerMail from TIE Line not Working

I have a site in Brazil that is on Cisco Call manager. The site is linked with a TIE line to my Nortel Opt11c in NY. When I call the Meridian Mail over the TIE line, I hear the greating to enter and mailbox, but it does not recognize the tone.

Any help on this ?

one test, if someone calls you via that tie, then presses any number from a digital set, can you hear tones?

I haven't tried getting someone to call me yet ? But where would I check if I DTMF enabled on that TIE

having someone call you is the fastest way to determine ifyou have dtmf from the far end..

the tie trunk cls determines if you can dtmf post supervision

I just had someone call me from Brazil and they can here the tone when they press a button, but I don't here anything other then the person talking on the phone.

You need to turn on EES in the CDB.

ld 21, prt ftr, eest probably is set to no, ld15 chg ftr, eest set to yes and test

That was it, thank you very much. It was acutally a combination of enabling it on the Nortel and the Cisco Voice Gateway.
