Calling groups on a Merlin magix

I have customer that wants a dorr box for the front door. When customers press the button, they want it to ring several phones at once and then somebody will answer it and find out who they are here to see. Is there an all ring calling group that will ring several phone at once when a door box(with a dialer) connected to a T/R port presses the button?

P.S. no trunk ports are available

Use an adjunct insead, Chuck. Set the door phone to ring it on its autodial. It dials the adjunct. The adjunct (or fake extension) is covered on up to 8 phones, with buttons appropriately labeled. All those phones then ring.

What release Magix do you have? You could try a door phone controller but it works on a c.o. line.

That can do it too!

If you have a magic rel. 3 you can create a calling group and make it group ring, add the members you want and have door programmed to dial that group.
