Saw TouchToneTommy's advice on getting calls to caover to voicemail with the patch cord between an unused ext and an unused line port.

Internal calls to 71 and 72 ring the phones, but don't cover to VM.

External calls through the Auto-Att seem to cover to the proper mailbox immediately

Ext - Line
35 - 10
36 - 11

Calling Group 1
Ext's 11,12,13,15,35

Calling Group 2
Ext's 16,17,36

Any idea if there's an interaction with Internal vs. External presented calls?

Who did you set as the call coverage extension for Line 10 and 11 in #208? And is line 10 and 11 assigned to those covering extensions, with ringing?

Coverage for 10 is 35. The only line on ext35 is 10, with delayed ringing.

Coverage for 11 is 36. The only line on ext36 is 11, with delayed ringing.

Where did you come up with this idea? It's pure genious! I'm just missing something.

Do 35 and 36 have Auto VMS Coverage in #310?

What happens if you call 35 and 36 on the intercom?

Right now, the calls roll directly into vmail when calling Intercom.

This is getting bizzare now. I had it working at one point. But now, the voicemail answers with differing results. It's a PCMCIA (Large) vms. Ports 78 and 79 are both defined in Hunt 7.

Sometimes the ports answer with the correct greeting, sometimes they answer with a generic auto-attendant greeting, sometimes they answer with the customer's recorded auto-attendant greeting.

Again, I've got
ext35 jumpered to Line10
ext36 jumpered to Line11

Should Lines 10 & 11 be assigned to Hunt 7 or to VMS Cover?
