Have 3 extensions in a calling group outside calls can reach when they choose a selector code on the auto attendant.
Shouldn't the call dump into the lowest extension number's voicemail box after the alloted voicemail coverage rings? Or am I wrong?

If I am wrong, is there a work-around?

Client wants the auto attendant to answer first and disperse the calls, so I cannot have the calls ring on these three extensions and give line coverage to one extension.

Program #306 - Transfer Return Extension for each of the Voicemail ports to itself, instead of Ext. 10 as the Messaging manual says

Create a mailbox for the calling group that you are using to ring the extensions - if you are using Calling Group 1, make mailbox 71 WITH a phone.

Record a greeting for mailbox 71 "All sales people are busy, leave a message", and use Phantom Destination (through the System Administrator's mailbox) to set 71's messages to go to a desired mailbox destination.

Calls are answered by the auto attendant, caller presses a selector code that transfers to Ext. 71, the phones ring, are not answered, returns to the VM port that did the transfer. Since a matching mailbox exists, VM routes the call there. Caller hears 71's outgoing message and the incoming message goes to the mailbox that you designate
