Calling Group Overflow

I hvae several calling groups on a PRI with DID's that are labeled, and overflow to a main calling group. This tells the calling group agents what number was called.

I want to monitor the queue filling with the Autodial light for the main calling group. This works if the call comes directly into the main group first, but if the call comes into the "labeled" calling group, it apparently doesn't overflow until the is an agent available in the main group.

Is there a way to "force" the overflow into the main group queue, even though there is not an agent currently available in that main group? This would give the queue information on the main group.
Let me know if you know.
Thanks.

Pepperz,

If I am reading this right, you only are going to the first group for identification purposes only, no members in that group. What I have done in the past is use group coverage instead of overflow...such as, DID is pointed to MFM station port 300, 300 is in coverage group 2. Coverage group 2 is assigned to group 771. When the call rings at 300, it covers to 771, being in the main group queue, and when it finally rings at an agents phone, the display will read 300, identifing where the call came from. This is if I am reading it right. I did this on a Magix 2.2 Hope this helps.
