calling group extension 2

What is the normal calling group extension in mxl-20l ? I need to add extensions to the calling groups and don't know what the extension si?

Not sure what you mean by calling group extension. If you mean the Cover Group for voicemail coverage - it is usually cover group 30. This group should contain all of the extension numbers that will be covered by voicemail

when I go into admin module menu-sysprog-exit-extensions-more-group cover or calling group it asks for the extension for the calling group. If I enter 30 will this show me all the extensions already assigned or can I just add an additional extension and then inspect to see all extensions?

After you dial 30 and Enter, press Inspect. This will show you all the extensions currently in the group. Press more if there is an ">" in the upper right hand corner to see the next page of extensions. Press back when you are done inspecting the group, then you can dial the group again and add your extensions.
