I have a MAGIX with Messaging R2.5, I can find where to record the Delay Announcement, but cannot figure out how to assign Delay Announcement 1 to calling group 771. It only prompts me for an extension of the delay announcement. Where can I assign Delay Announcement 1 as an extension?? or am I going in the wrong direction here?

I think I need to assign certain ports as primary and secondary announcement, but I cannot find where to do that.

in your calling group 771 , under delay announc, put your station that is assocaite with your annouc device

That was the problem, I couldn't figure out what extension to use. I think I can just put in one of the last ports of the vm to get it to work. I didn't realize their was a second page to the screen that allows you to designate which announcement in Messaging is the primary and which is the secondary. Thanks for the response.

This still doesn't seem to work. Will an announcement work if the customer is set up for "Group call" and "Autologin"(where all extensions stay logged in all the time)?

It isn't straightforward. The DAS ports must be assigned to a separate VMS calling group as well. The Mer Msgng .pdf is fairly good at it. There is also a separate part of the delay announcement setup in the Magix that pertains to using the Merlin Messaging ports. Once done, it ties together nicely.
