Hi,

This is going to be a rather random post but hopefully someone can decipher the BT fix for this.

There is a current ongoing issue with calling EE mobiles from a BT line since EE have upgraded there network a few weeks ago. The problem is the caller will receive a missed call but the person calling from the phone system gets to ringing or anything. I have this on a few systems which are Avaya, Samsung and Simens/Unify.

BT and EE have come back to me with a fix saying its a setting i need to change on the phone system but i have no idea where this is. Any help would be amazing on this as it been driving me insane.

SIN 261 Issue 5.6 British Telecommunications plc

Progress Indicator Information Element 'Location' code point '03' (Transit
Network)
Calls to/from certain Analogue network destinations can cause the network to send a progress indicator with a location code point of ‘03’ (Transit Network). The code point 03, although defined in ETS 300 403 is a reserved value in ETS 300 102. CPE should support Progress Indicator information elements with a ‘Location’ code point of 03. This can be received from the network either in an incoming ‘SETUP’ message or in a‘PROGRESS/ALERTING’ message for outgoing calls.

Thank you in advance

Only system manufacturers can code that level of change, they aren't going to do that for carrier generated issues :)
