Calling DOS commands from sql scripts ???

Hello,

Is it possible to call Dos command (import ...) from a sql script ???
If yes, how to do it ?

More generally, is it better to do a Windows scheduled task which call sqlplus or to schedule a job in Oracle (which call Dos command -> like import).
