Calling between Def G3R and NEC Electra Elite

We have 2 phone systems for 2 different companies on one campus in the same phone room.

The new NEC (4 digit dialing) and the EPN (5 digit)of the Definity G3R. Is there a way to set up trunks between so the to can call each other without dialing out to the LEC and back and being charged for it?
