Calling an Oracle Store SQL Procedure

I have a stored sql procedure and I need to be able to call it from a UNIX shell and pass in a varible. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

something like this:

`sqlplus -s scott/tiger@db <<EOF
exec(yourproc $yourvar)
EOF`
