Calling an Access 2000 shortcut from VB6

I have an access 2000 database with lots of forms and reports. I wish to call some of these directly from a VB6 program.
I would appreciate advice on the best way to tackle this requirement.
I have looked at using a access form desktop shortcut but cannot find a way to call it from VB6.
