calling a pager through symposium

I'm trying to call a pager for people on call. can't seem to do it through symposium. trying to set it up to call different numbers depending on date. some are phones some are pagers. only pagers don't work. Has anyone gotten anything like this to work.

Route the call to a voicemail box with remote notification turned on. They'll need to leave a message, and then the voicemail box can notify the pager to pick up the message.
