HI,

Im making a flash project using Freehand (exported to swf). At the same time, I want to make a drop down menu, so Im using Flash. How can I control which page to open using the menu, since pages are inside a flash project, diferent from that where I´m making my menu.

Thank you

Come again?

Hi,

What I was trying to say was that I´m creating some web pages in Freehand: Page1, Page2...etc to make a web site. I need to link those pages. A simple link could be done in Freehand, however, I need a drop down menu (because the pages will have subpages..). The final Freehand document (with those pages) will be export to Flash.

As far as I know, i can´t make a drop down menu in Freehand, so I need to use Flash.

The problem is that, when creating the web site I will use to distinct swf files: that for the menu, and the other taht actual have the web pages. The question is: How can I link, from the drop down menu to the web pages in the swf file? If the pages were exported to html, taht would be easy..I would simple indicate the html name of each pahe. However what I have is a big swf with the pages inside...

Thank you.

I've never used Freehand and have no knowledge about it, but am I now undestanding that you in fact only want to control one .swf from the other? What was throwing me off was probably the fact that you talked about pages in the second one, which I may have wrongly assumed as being html pages and not in fact "Flash pages" within the second .swf.

If I'm now right, you should be able to work it out with a localconnection...

Or using Flash methods...
