Calling a Hunt group over SCN 2

Our Philly office has all incoming calls ringing a hunt group that includes all users (about 9). They would like to be able to ring the reception hunt group at our site (MN) if the call rings longer than the allocated time. Is this possible to ring a remote hunt group?

add a phnatom user forward unconditional/ forward hunt group calls set to the group at MN
put this user into the overflow group.

According to the documentation the hunt group that the phantom extension is a part of must be a Hunt or Rotary and NOT Group or Linear. My hunt group is a configured as a group because all phones should ring at my main location. Will the forward still work?

No, you will need to use voicemail pro to do the transfer if group type ring is needed.

Be careful of tromboning (calls being transfered back and forth using up ip trunks)
