Have a Magix 2.0

A t-1 coming in with DID trunks on the channels.
The client would like to have callerID through these trunks.

Carrier has said the CallerID number will be sent down the T1 as tones.
Will this cause a problem as the system may take the CallerID tones and confuse them as the DNIS digits and route them to extensions or default out to the operator?
Is there a solution here?

Do to the nature of DID trunking be it copper or riding DS1s there is NO CID format available for any PBX. Caller ID is only available on copper loop-start lines/trunks, or loop-start lines riding DS1s with appropriate channel units, and ISDN - BASIC & PRIMARY.

Some systems may support ANI, but that is NOT Caller ID and not supported on Legend/Magix.
