Caller Menu + Mbox

I selected type 33 which is callers menu + Mbox. I can setup the caller's menu no problem but I dont have a voicemail box, so caller's can leave a message. Am I using the right type of box for this? Using Octel250

What are you trying to do ? If you want it to go to a mailbox you will need to add one.

Well I want the callers to be able to either select an option to be transferred or be able to leave a voicemail for that mailbox.

The best way would be to use a type 32 callers menu + Ext. Then you can dial the ext number and it will transfer the call to the ext number and you can program a callers menu so they can press 1 for x 2 for y and so on. If ou want the caller to leave a message then of course that number or person would have to have a mailbox to receive it with.

You can also use a type 33 so if the caller dials a mailbox number it will send it to the mailbox but if they press 1 it will transfer the call to ext xxxx.
