I have Partner ACS R3.0 and changed from loop start to centrex lines and now CLID does not work.
Have confirmed CLID is coming through on the Centrex lines by using a CLID box.

Any ideas?

Was told that sometimes CLID format is different on Centrex Lines, how do I fix that?Update Processor?

TIA.

Hi guestworks,
If the CLID unit works, the Partner should as well. How many rings before the call is answered? Sometimes one audible ring is enough, sometimes you need two rings.

I was told it is 2 rings. As I mentioned clid worked before the lines were switched to centrex and none of the programming was changed.
Will check the programming to verify and let you know.

Thanks.

If caller Id is imperative before answering, consider delayed ringing, that would allow clid time to register before you hear an audible ring. The caller will wait longer to be answered although.

If you want to check when clid is being sent, monitor with your test set in monitor mode, clid is generaly audible in monitor. It sends between rings.
