Caller ID

I have 2310 phone set. I need to know how to have the display show caller ID information by default, I have a button that the operator can select to display the caller id information.. However, by default the nortel line number is displayed..

athis will depend on the system that you have not the telephone. with a Compact ICS (CICS) and with Modular ICS (MICS) after 6.0 it is possible to program the caller ID info under Terminals&Sets->Telco features->feature assign->Show Line->Caller id set. In earlier versions of the MICS you can only program one telephone to display caller ID info under Lines->Trunk/line data->CLID Set.
