Is their a setting so the phones get caller ID name instead of number? I Cannot spare a button for caller id name.

One option is upgrade to Magix 3.0 which displays both name and ID on two-line displays.
The original programming of showing Name OR Number was pretty lame, and the extra button required to show the other (instead of soft "MORE" button) was equally lame.
It's a shame that features we take for granted on $50 cordless phones don't work as well on $xxxx Legend/Magix systems.
Why, for example, can we not see history of caller ID?
Why can't we inspect Caller ID of a call in progress?

Tony, In order for caller ID Name & Number to be dispalyed, You must have Legend 7.0, or Magix ( any version ) Processor. You have to PGM a button on Your MLX/4400 telephone to toggle between name/number. I have Magix 2.1, works nice.
