Nortel MICS: customer has a mics 7.0 with a CID card for lines 1-4 provider verifies caller id is arriving, when an incomming call comes in the phones ring but in display only shows a bracketed V {V} I dont see any caller id programming in "lines" only in Terminals and sets under " Telco Features Caller id "Yes". I have given all extensions Called ID Yes and a call log of 20 each. caller id card was swapped with a good worker from a CICS,no change

Personally, I never trust what the Telco tells me. I install a caller ID box before the system to make sure I'm getting it...

Your system is ok!

V or [V] is Verified Caller ID, also know as STIR/SHAKEN.

Call the carrier and ask them to remove it as it's not compatible with your system.
