I had to move a couple phone lines on a Partner system a week ago. I actually just moved cross connects and their phones work fine. They emailed me today and said their phones are no longer showing Caller ID when people call in. The phones just show 'Voice Message System'.

Is there a feature code to show Caller ID when someone calls in?

Some releases did have an issue forwarding caller id through the messaging system. I assume calls are being answered by the auto-attendant. If so, make sure you have the lines set to 2-rings or else the caller id has no chance to be grabbed by the Partner system prior to the voicemail answering.

Yes, they do go through an auto attendant first before it rings the extensions. Can settings for a phone be lost when they get unplugged? I sure hope not. How do I program the extension to ring more than two times (I have never worked on a Partner before...only IPO).

Thanks

Make sure the lines are set to no-ring on each extension so they don't actually ring 2-times before going to the attendant. If that's already programmed, then from x10/11 you can do Feature 00, Left Intercom Twice, #506, 1 (for day mode), then dial the line number (01 for line 1), then dial 2 to set it to 2 rings. Repeat for each line that needs to be answered by the attendant.

That will set the lines to ring the system twice before answering.

FYI, unplugging a phone won't lose programming. Unplugging the Processor if the battery is dead inside could lose programming.
