My company has changed names recently. One of our offices says when we call them their phones show the old name. I have tested our lines through SBC and they all show the new name. We have 2 T1's for long distance through Sprint. Sprint says the problem is not with them. Is there somewhere on my switch that is sending the old name? I have it narrowed down to long distance calls, so it must be coming from calls made over the T1's.

matters not, either provider can update the ss7 table for your number.. the provider does not tag the line, they enter a name/number line in the ss7 database and that act's almost like a dns server.. all numbers that hit the pstn query that database.. once you find someone with access to that database, it will be a quick fix
