Caller ID within Ring Group

Guys,

System is a 3300 running MCD4.0

This customer has got some digital Trunks (PRI ISDN)with DIDs.

One of the DIDs if converted using System Speed Call Assig. where the Actual number is a RING GROUP.

When somebody from outside calls the DID number, members of the ring group will see on their display 3500 (which is the ring group pilot number).

They want to be able to see (Before Answering) the Caller ID of the calling party, not the Ring group Pilot Number.

In the mean time I have asked the customer to press superkey + flashing key, which will presnt the Calling Number.

Question: Is it possible to members of a ring group to see who is calling before answering, and not having to do the superkey thing.??

If yes, what COS options need to be enabled?? Trunks and Sets.

hi,

with DDI point to a ring group i think that you can not see the caller ID, but you can try to configure the all phones from the ring group with the same multicall line key.

It is al a question of the correct equipment. In this case they would need 5320/30/40 or 5360.
