Is there any way to get Caller ID on a TransTalk hooked to a Legend system - or do you have to go to a Magix?

I have tried with an ETR card - and all I get as the "enhanced" data to the TransTalk is date and time - but not Caller ID.

I had same problem, I have magix R2.2, TT 9040 on ETR016, caller ID didn't work, only date & time. I had two MLS 18D's on that card that did the same thing! I bought a 601 Radio module now on 412TDL, it works now. the ETR016 cards are very flaky! I went through two ETR016 cards, same problem.

So - I guess that means - unless I go to a Magix - I can forget about getting Caller ID on my TransTalk 9040. Problem is - my wife really hates giving up those "cute" BIS-10 phones - and they won't work with Magix. Oh well - decisons, decisions!

Tom, Transtalk 9040 should work with caller ID on legend R7, make sure processor is CKE4. If You have a CKE3 processor, ETR016, MLX016 cards don not work fully.
When I upgraded to Magix, and got 44xx phones, She dosn't miss the Bis10s anymore.

Andre - I was using a CKE4 with Legend R7,V14.2 - but the TransTalk only got "date and time" off the ETR card - no Caller ID. If the TransTalk was attached to an ATL card - of course you received no additional data. So, unless I'm missing something - there is no way to get Caller ID to a TrandTalk 9040 without plugging it into a TDL card and running Magix software - either on a CKE4 or CKE5. It won't transmit Caller ID when hooked to an ETR card on either system.

Tom, I would try another ETR016 card. I went through this in 1999 ( I call it the $1000 mistake, ETR016 & BC905 ). And again in 2002, this card worked fine until Summer of 2004. ATL cards will not show caller-ID, only internal ext calling. If I remeber right, only ANI ( number only ) would popup on ATL cards with ISDN-PRI. I remeber Lucent was going to come out with a ETR412 card for Legend, I will assume there were a lot of bugs with them!
