Caller ID to show the direct number on 3300 2

Hello All,

I am a novice at the Mitel 3300 but seem to know enough to get myself in trouble. Our system shows the main number when anybody calls out of the system. I want to change this so it shows the direct number for each user. How and where do I do this?

What kind of external trunks do you use and what kind of modules in use. For PRI trunks check followinf forms.

Embedded help system can give you enough information how to use it.
 
I am Assuming you use PRI.

If you use an NSU you need to use IMAT to modify the NSU Database to configure the CPN Substitution Tables
The NSU requires a reset before changes will be active

The Embedded T1/E1 Module allows changes to CPN Substitution immediately.

Perfect! Thanks you guys are quick. Yes it is PRI trunks (2 PRI's). I found the area under Trunks -> Digital Trunks -> ISDN PRI -> T1 -> Outgoing Call Characteristics.

I will read up on the help pages to figure out exactly how to do it. We have a range like 1100 - 1399 with three character extensions. So 100 would go to the front desk, 101 would go to the president, etc. A person can dial in by typing xxx-xxx-1101 to get to the president. At this time whatever extension you dial from it shows xxx-xxx-1100 for the caller ID. I would rather have it so the President would dial out and it would show xxx-xxx-1101.

This of course drives our receptionist nuts because so many of our people do not leave messages and the customers call back saying somebody called them. She has no way of knowing who called them and the customer ends up getting upset.
