Caller ID Synch

Have an R7.0 that recently switched to new service. Now the time is constantly off due to the synch with caller id....and I know with R7 you cannot stop that issue via the Partner. My question is if I tell the provider to remove caller id from the lines will this stop the date/time synch or does the line still pass the date/time through even if caller id is not present on the lines?
 
Removing Caller ID will remove the automatic synch.

But have you talked to the provider? Some will have absolutely no idea, others can log into the IAD and change the time offset.
 
I know they can change their router, but they are claiming they cannot. I had the same issue with the same provider (and same router) and they fixed it about a year ago. I have told them this in hopes that they have notes on what they did, but they just keep saying there is nothing they can do.
 
The provider just changed something in the router and now it is working. I'm sure it was the time offset.
